A service of the Greater Fort Worth Herb Society to the community, the Log Cabin Village Herb Garden is intended as a teaching garden. Members researched which herbs would have been used by the original settlers at the Log Cabin Village, between the years 1850 and 1890. The signs that mark the herb beds will contain the common American name of the herb as well as the botanical name, allowing visitors from other countries to recognize the herbs.
The Log Cabin Village Herb Garden is maintained by members of the Greater Fort Worth Herb Society who work voluntarily in the garden. For more information about the Herb Garden or if you would like to volunteer to work in the Herb Garden, please e-mail our Log Cabin Village Chair at lcv@gfwhs.org
