Herb Festival
The Greater Fort Worth Herb Society maintains two herb gardens in Fort Worth. A large herb garden at the Fort Worth Log Cabin Village is maintained by our members. We also support a native herb pocket garden behind the Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. building located at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
Admission is required at the Log Cabin Village. Click the link above to learn more about the Village.
The Log Cabin Village Herb Garden features herbs Texas pioneers used, as well as a few other herbs, vegetables and flowers. GFWHS members participate in some Log Cabin Village special events and answer questions about the herbs.
The Pocket Garden is planted with native Texas herbal plants.
To best experience these gardens, we recommend you visit them several times throughout the year to enjoy the variety these gardens provide.
